Spotlight on: Improving Facebook Communications

Most organizations have Facebook pages, but many struggle to connect with audiences online. Read our tips below to make your Facebook page more useful to followers.

Call to Action Button: A call to action button can be added at the top of a Facebook page to link users to an external URL. On mobile, this shows up as a large button across the entire screen. This is a huge opportunity to direct people to your organization’s website, video page or store.

Pages to Watch: Get a better understanding of how similar organizations are performing on Facebook. This handy tool can be found at the very bottom of the overview tab under Insights. Add similar organizations to see how your page’s likes, posts and engagements compare.

Know when to Post: Go to Insights then Posts. The graph at the very top of the page shows when your fans are online. If there is a clear peak in the graph, post around this time to ensure users are online when your posts are the fresh. This will improve your reach and engagement rate.
