Bob LeDrew is a well-known man in Ottawa’s artistic community. Well known not just for his house concerts and passion for online communications – but also because he is so generous of spirit.  He was a silver sponsor of Podcasters Across Borders. He also co-hosts a new podcast worthy of a listen called PR and Other Deadly Sins.

Here he talks about the emotional five minute presentation by Andrea Ross – I’ll post her entire “jolt” talk when it’s up in video form – as Bob suggests, it’s a truly powerful testament to why people create communities – online and off. He also muses about putting an “easter egg” into an upcoming having been inspired by Mike Tenant, a copywriter and producer of CBC’s Age of Persuasion.

#PAB2010 Interviews – Bob LeDrew by iancapstick

This is the second in a series of portraits and audio interviews with some of the people I have been inspired by at PAB2010 – aka Podcasters Across Borders. It was the first traditional “conference” I’ve been at that was like I was being invited into someones home to learn rather than “spoken at” from a stage. This gathering for online media creators spent its first four years in Kingston and recently moved to the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.
